That headline speaks volumes doesn’t it?  It’s pretty shocking, but really, that’s where we are.

We know that we have a passionate base of people who are eager to support this film so we thought it might be time to share some of what’s been happening with you.

We have made some great strides. We’re excited to let you know that theaters around the country are now opening up show times so you can purchase tickets directly! Here’s the link to our theater page on the website: http://www.cagednomoremovie.com/theaters/

“This film does a remarkable job in portraying the ugly truth about trafficking. As a former Special Operations expert now dedicating my life to rescuing children here and abroad, I wholeheartedly endorse the message of CAGED NO MORE. It’s a film every family must see.”
— Tony Sparks, Phantom Rescue

We’re also hearing from trafficking groups and churches around the country who are ready to use this film to make changes in their communities as they battle trafficking. The word is getting out.

With success always comes a flip side, right? This is where that headline comes in and it’s also where we are seeking to get YOUR help. We are beginning to hear from theaters around the country that their cities are not interested in these human trafficking films. That is a pretty provocative statement and we understand how that comes across, but as of right now, we’ve had several theater chains tell us that there’s no interest in this film. We actually had one theater manager come right out and tell us no one cares about this movie! We KNOW that isn’t the case. We’ve seen your emails and read your comments on our posts, but now it’s time for you to let your local theaters know that you are here, you DO have a voice, and you’re looking for films that represent YOUR values. It’s time for us to unite with trafficking organizations, step up into the culture and take our place. Films like War Room and God’s Not Deadproved that we are here, and it is time to remind some people that the wild success of those films was not an anomaly.

How can you do this? Please contact your local theaters and talk to them about Caged No More. Ask them to bring it to your area. Tell them you want to see it.

If the film is slated to play near you please buy tickets. Take a group. Bring your youth group. Talk to people. It’s time to send a message. We know you’ve heard that before, but this time, we’re actually being asked to send that message. Let the theater owners, managers, and buyers know that films like these WILL get supported. Make your voice heard at the box office. Your dollars speak in this instance.

You can email me at lori@cagednomoremovie.com to find out more about how you can take your group to the film and use it to open a dialogue about trafficking. I would also ask that you hit social media with the hashtags #CagedNoMore and #Stoptrafficking.  Share our trailer and tell your friends.

We wouldn’t be here without you and we all know that.  You are the reason we do what we do.

Thank you,

Lori Twichell
