Yes, you can mix different types of killifish. Killifish from the same genus (not species) can be kept together in the same tank. Male killifish are more aggressive than female killifish and can become aggressive with each other.

They will not eat or bother plants, but they are fairly voracious predators of dwarf shrimp and even small fish such as microrasboras and very small danios or tetras. As with most predatory fish, the Golden Wonder Killifish will eat any animal that will fit in its mouth.

Yes, killifish can live with neon tetras. Killifish and neon tetras are highly compatible tank mates that are extremely attractive when kept together because they are both lively and colorful. In addition, neon tetras are small, peaceful fish that will not make your killifish feel territorial or aggressive.
Can you put killifish with guppies?
While some breeds of killifish can live with guppies in relative peace, others are completely incompatible. If you insist in trying your luck with mixing the two species, at least look for a smaller, less aggressive breed of killifish. This will minimize the chance of aggression and territorial display in the long run.
