What do you cut Tuftex panels with?
Cutting: Cut single panels of TUFTEX with a pair of snips or heavy duty scissors. Multiple panels may be cut using a circular saw with a plywood blade reversed or a fine-tooth handsaw. Side Laps and End Laps: Seal all side laps and end laps with a silicone sealer, vinyl adhesive or PVC cement.
Can you overlap Tuftex panels?
Do not overlap or apply over existing roofing or lattice. Ventilation: All Tuftex covered structures need adequate ventilation to control condensation and ensure coolness. If high heat may develop choose Tuftex PolyCarb panels for your project.
How do you seal corrugated plastic roof seams?
Insert a tube of butyl caulking into a caulk gun and snip the end off using sharp scissors. Apply a 1/4-inch wide bead of caulk over the seam where the two panels overlap. Work your way across the entire roof to apply caulk to all remaining seams to seal them.
How do you overlap polycarbonate roofing?
When joining the sheets, overlap one and half corrugations for the corrugated profile. And one overlap for the Greca profile. Make sure that your overlap sequence is away from the prevailing wind.

Use screws with neoprene bonded washers to fasten polycarbonate to greenhouse. Use ½″ washers with corrugated polycarbonate and 1″ washers with triple wall polycarbonate. Do not fasten screws within ½″ of the edge of a polycarbonate sheet. When fastening screws, do not tighten below the surface of the panel.
