Please contact your nurse for specifics*. Visiting hours are 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Additional hours on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.. Children under the age of 12 may not visit, and patients may not have any more than two visitors at a time.

For the health of you and our patients, SIH and SIH Medical Group campuses are tobacco free. Parking: Free parking is available for all patients and visitors adjacent to the entrance. A shuttle is available weekdays from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
What are the waiting areas like at North Shore University Hospital?
There are three waiting areas inside North Shore University Hospital: Professional chaplains are available to provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and families for people of all faiths. They are trained to listen in an open and nonjudgmental way.

Visitors may use designated eating locations within the medical center and other amenities available to patients or visitors. Two visitors are permitted per day if social distancing allows. The individuals must be the same people within a 24-hour period.
